Business rates cut to small business retailer

So, it takes a virus to get the government to understand the retail industry is suffering from business rates. I would argue this should have been done last year to combat online growth and look at different taxations to the likes of Amazon and Google to replace this draconian tax.

£3000 cash grant from the government

Thank you … as an owner of a business that pays small business rates. A small cash gift like this will help.

Emergency Business loans guaranteed by the government

The Government is providing a guarantee loan scheme to banks covering bank losses up to 80%. In my experience, the banks are terrible at implementing this. Why not look to our brilliant P2P business loan market to facilitate these loans. Not only will the money made be going back to private investors instead of big cats which will make up the losses savers have from the interest rate cut, but, it will facilitate an already fantastic growing marketplace that needs support.

Is it uncompetitive to only offer this to banks who have historically abused their position creating the last financial crisis? A percentage of this money should be facilitated through the alternative finance market
