At present, just over £4.1bn worth of CBILS has been handed out to over 25,000 businesses, with over 65+ lenders accredited under the scheme. But as NextFin has reported, Fintechs are often better equipped at dishing out loans much faster than mainstream banks which rely on much slower legacy systems.
