Amazon has given “Best Seller” ratings to the company due to its roots in the Hollywood illustrated books created to strengthen literacy and learning. The company's unit growth has been strong and has received 38% aggregate MoM growth this year. The proceeds will be used to expedite the Epic Word Adventure into new areas and develop new content for children.

Open Energy Labs is an education technology company that teaches students in Africa how to build and maintain renewable electricity supplies. The company is developing an educational application along with a hardware kit that facilitates the 'learning by making' approach. This teaches students electronics, enabling them to build a renewable electricity supply, and provide reliable power for lighting and mobile-phone charging. The company's current technology setup is being utilised by Zambia’s two top technical colleges, and it has Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) under discussion with the nation's Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Energy to roll the programme out to a further 3,000 students. Open Energy Labs has received more than £184,000 from Innovate UK through the Global Challenges Research Fund. It has previously raised £67,000 from backers such as Bethnal Green Ventures and Energy4Impact. The company will use the investment to develop its technology and roll its programme across Zambia.

The app has over 5,000 teacher registrations with 100 schools who use and implement Teacher Booker. It has also secured a contract with a well-known regional education services provider. The Teacher Booker platform aims at eradicating expensive supply teacher agency fees and saving the schools millions of pounds a year.

The user base of this company has grown exponentially to 125,000+ users in less than a year and forecasted to grow at the rate of 30,000+ new users in a month. Perfectly Spoken has grown to 65,000 active followers on social media and is likely to attract book subscriptions from companies and higher education institutions. The additional revenue streams on the consideration include advertising and sponsorship, licensing of content, potential joint ventures, white labeling and develop parallel language services starting with Spanish.
