Status: Active

Jul 27th 2020 - Sep 3rd 2020

ZoomEV is a company that aims to be a 'Mobility as a Service' (MaaS) provider by combining the Electric Vehicle (EV) and Vehicle Sharing (VS) markets to combat climate change. The company provides services such as EV sharing, EV insurance and EV Driver Benefits Bundle. EVs will account for 57% of new car sales by 2040 and the UK sharing economy would see a 20 fold increase to £140 billion by 2025. ZoomEV aims to be a strong contender in this segment. The company has partnered with organisations such as BP Chargemaster, EO Charging, SSE, and Q-Park. It also has global franchised motorcar dealership Jardine Motors Group to boost its growth. Zoom will use the investment to scale its business by accelerating marketing activity in core areas, employ sales personnel to target the EV sales/leasing sector and build its app.
