Equity Crowdfunding Pitches

Koble claims that its data-driven Software as a Service (SaaS) tool helps accelerators and incubators streamline their selection process so they can focus on the most promising founders. The company's vision is to price early-stage startup risk and reward. It intends to move from a Software as a Service (SaaS) workflow tool to the startup-investor marketplace. Koble asserts that pre-seed and seed investors lack a quantitative approach in the early stage of recognising promising startups. Koble argues that its approach is different; it claims that its algorithms are built to mimic the decision processes (both analytical and intuitive) that humans go through when analysing a startup. The tool collects structured, well-tagged data that is not available in the public domain and power the first algorithms that can predict startup success. The company envisages three exit options, namely launching an IPO, avail buyout offers from big technology entities and avail buyout offers from financial buyers.

Doc2UK is a specialist UK medical recruitment and candidate support platform. Based in London, the platform places qualified doctors in the National Health Scheme (NHS) roles around the United Kingdom. The British Medical Association (2018) reported that patient care is at risk due to a critical shortage of doctors across multiple medical disciplines. At present, the UK only has 24 medical schools to fill this gap, whilst India, in comparison, has 468 medical schools, with 68,000 doctors graduating each year. Moreover, uncertainty about the status of EU nationals after Brexit, changes to immigration policies, and the impact of changing language testing requirements for international nurses have made this crisis worse. This situation necessitates recruiting doctors from overseas an important endeavour. This is where Doc2UK aims to become a key player and ensure that lack of medical personnel doesn't disrupt any medical services. The company is seeking an investment of up to £300,000 which will be used to develop the platform with more features, expand the team, marketing and sales.

Hemspan states that it designs bio-based building systems and products for construction by combining modern methods, technology and hemp to produce net-zero carbon solutions. The company argues that every time an average house is built, the CO2 emitted by the manufacture, transport and assembly of the materials used is around 50 to 60 tonnes. Hemspan says that one hectare of UK-grown industrial hemp can absorb 11 tonnes of CO2 each year with regeneratively farmed hemp capable of sequestering a further 6 tonnes per hectare of CO2 into the soil each year. Hemspan intends to activate significant demand for hemp farming in the UK and develop processing technologies to reduce reliance on imports and enable large scale manufacturing of bio-based cladding and insulation products that spin out of R&D programmes. It asserts that the global industrial hemp market is expected to grow at 25% CAGR reaching US$ 27 billion by 2028. It aims to be a contender in this segment.
