Savortex is a British IoT (Internet of Things) hand-hygiene technology company. It has designed a patent-pending, non-touch, smart hand sanitizer dispenser. Savortex argues that the worldwide market for 'Hand Sanitizers' is forecast to grow to $36.6 billion by 2026 in the wake of COVID-19. The company aims to become a segment leader in this sector. Savortex claims that IoT enabled hand dryers and sanitizers can identify individuals who use the aforementioned devices and those that did not. Building managers can use this data to ensure the highest level of hygienic discipline. Savortex points out that its IoT devices can also provide real-time data on the number of times a hand dryer or sanitizer is being used in other locations. This allows a range of clients, including supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and shopping centres, to assess how hygienic their customer base is and take measures accordingly. Savortex will use the £1,075,000 of growth capital to develop its sales channels, continue product development, and access new markets globally.

Soho Street Cocktails (SSC) uses the finest quality ingredients, including real fruits with no artificial flavours or colours to produce high-quality pre-mixed cocktails. SSC argues that bars and restaurants make high margins from the sale of cocktails but the serving time of several minutes per cocktail causes either a backlog of bar orders or requires additional staff. The company asserts that its drinks, in contrast, are poured directly into a cocktail shaker with ice, shaken for 8-10 seconds, then served to the customer. SSC stresses that it has found success in bars and restaurants. SSC's current range consists of three ready-mixed cocktails, namely Espresso martini, Pornstar martini, and Raspberry Daiquiri, with more flavours in the pipeline. It has submitted its product for sampling and testing with major retailers, including Waitrose, Sainsbury, Tesco and Costco. SSC states it will use the investment for additional production runs to ensure sufficient stock to cater to larger orders from distributors and festivals.

Spiral is a leading classroom learning platform which encourages active learning and collaborative atmosphere for school, teachers and students.  The Social Learning Network (TSLN) is building a world-class education technology company, providing innovative well-researched collaborative apps to help teachers make the most of mobile learning that is being rolled out to students in schools around the world. TSLN’s founders have spent two years in field research, identifying the key issues faced by teachers and students as they adopt technology into their day-to-day practice. The outcome is Spiral - a suite of individual apps that mirror common learning activities used in schools all over the world; empowering teachers and providing unique real-time data to support assessment and school-wide monitoring. Spiral’s first two apps – Quickfire and Discuss - were launched in July 2015 with over 2,800 schools and 18,000 users registering in the first 4 months. This November, an average of over 57 new schools have signed up every day and registration figures are growing exponentially month-on-month. Spiral is used by primary age to university students, in all subjects, from over 100 countries across the world.  TSLN is seeking to raise £400,000 of investment (£85,000 already raised) in exchange for 22.2% equity (17.5% available to CrowdBnk investors), to match-fund its remaining £130,000 SMART grant from Innovate UK and proposed Horizon 2020 grant-funding to continue growing Spiral as a global mobile learning brand, with the intention of acquisition from a global education service provider by 2019.
