Crowdstacker

Established in May 2014, Crowdstacker is an FCA regulated Peer to Peer lending platform that allows people to lend to British businesses via bonds, loan notes and peer to peer loans. They generally cater for larger investment targets, their largest being 15m to date.  There are no fees charged to the investor. A minimum £100investment is required and most investments are IFISA and SIPP eligible

It is important to note that on the issuance of Bond or Loan Notes, the subscription monies received from the Investors will then be transferred from the Client Account to the issuer’s bank account.  Once the Bonds or Loan Notes have been issued they cannot be cancelled for any reason.

What happens if Crowdstacker should fail or becomes insolvent?

If the platform were to fail or become insolvent Bonds and Loan Notes will continue to be served by a third-party service provider who are FCA approved.  If this happens the lender may not be able to transfer their bonds or loan notes and the platform including account page would not be available for access.
